We have been bringing trends from around the world to downtown Kelowna for more than 30 years. In 1987, Val LaRue opened Hyde Park on Lawrence Avenue. A New York style revolving door—the salon's signature feature--is still the centrepiece of the salon, but almost everything else has changed, especially the hair. Keeping up with the ever-changing trends in the beauty and fashion industry is what has kept Hyde Park one of Kelowna's premier salons.
